Peaceful Yoga Flow: This class uses basic yoga poses to stretch the body and calm the mind by blending multiple styles to give you a balanced and energizing experience. We will use yin and restorative poses to target the joints, connective tissue, etc. and promote healing, as well as flow sequences for a full body stretch and tone. All levels including absolute beginners are welcome and encouraged.
Yoga Nidre: Yoga Nidre is a meditative practice often translated as yogic sleep or divine sleep. It is a yoga practice that focuses on systematic relaxation of the body while the mind enters a state of deep, meditative awareness—like dreaming while fully awake. In this ultra-relaxed state of consciousness, the mind is focused, fully alert, and receptive, as the body releases into the physiological relaxation response where deep healing, regeneration and rejuvenation can happen. It is nurturing for everyone and especially helpful for those dealing with trauma, anxiety, or depression. We will begin with breath work and very gentle stretching. No yoga experience necessary.
Yoga for Golfers: Enhance your Game and Health: Breath work and a mindful practice will be used to increase focus, relaxation, and patience, as well as flexibility, balance, and alignment. Participants will be shown how to prevent injuries through a series of practical stretches and why body symmetry and range of motion is critical to a golfer’s overall health. Everyone will leave with some new skills to improve their game and with an enhanced excitement for the upcoming season. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
